The organizational scheme for my notebooks:

I really like using Evernote, it helps me to keep resources together that I might otherwise forget about. I have all sorts of stuff in my notebook after this semester including notes and Powerpoints from previous classes I've taken, journal articles that I want to remember in the future, articles with helpful teaching tips, and all of the assignments for this semester. I have over 50 notes in my notebook from this semester, all of them are related to science and/or teaching. I think this is an especially useful took depending on your discipline, and it's useful for all teachers. I don't know if I would use one for anything other than teaching, because I kind of see Evernote as an academic Pinterest board (and I have Pinterest for everything else).

Questions or difficulties that you still have trying to use Evernote professionally:

I don't have any questions about how to use Evernote, I just need to go through all of my notes over break and organize them better so I know where everything is when I need it.

How you believe that your PKB contributes to your professional learning:
I think Evernote is an essential tool for teachers. It helps to organize articles, activities, and lesson plans all together in one place, and separate notebooks can be created for different classes or different topics. I think once I'm a teacher I am going to use Evernote with my students and have a shared notebook together as a class where students need to post assignments and I will post class readings. It will be a very helpful tool for students when they are in college.
